The system captures key data points through advanced imaging and calculation, making it an essential tool for professional opticians.<\/p><p><strong>Pupillary Distance (PD)<\/strong>:<br \/>The Visioffice accurately measures the distance between the <strong>corneal reflection<\/strong> of each eye by using a central LED positioned behind a mirror. This LED projects light onto the patient&#8217;s eyes while they look into the mirror, allowing precise PD measurements for both eyes.<\/p><p>The system calculates the <strong>fitting height<\/strong> by measuring the distance from the <strong>corneal reflection<\/strong> to the <strong>lower edge<\/strong> of the lens. This crucial measurement ensures that the lens is positioned optimally for the patient&#8217;s prescription, delivering the best possible visual clarity.<\/p><p>The Visioffice can display detailed <strong>frame measurements<\/strong>, including:<\/p><ul><li style=\"list-style-type: none;\"><ul><li><strong>A<\/strong>: Horizontal lens width (from the furthest left to the furthest right edge)<\/li><li><strong>B<\/strong>: Vertical lens height (from the top to the bottom edge)<\/li><li><strong>DBL<\/strong>: Bridge width of the frame<br \/>Additional frame data, such as <strong>Pantoscopic Angle<\/strong>, <strong>Vertex Distance<\/strong>, and <strong>Wrap Angle<\/strong>, are also measured to ensure a perfect fit and alignment.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul><p>Using <strong>stereoscopic, 3D imaging<\/strong>, the Visioffice calculates the <strong>eye rotation center<\/strong>\u2014the precise distance from the central point of the eye\u2019s rotation to the back surface of the lens when worn. This measurement is derived from two images taken during the <strong>Far Vision Measurement<\/strong> for accurate, personalized lens positioning.<\/p><p>The <strong>Head Cape<\/strong> refers to the angle of the patient&#8217;s <strong>Natural Head Posture (NHP)<\/strong>. When asked to look straight ahead, any slight head rotation (left or right) while focusing forward is measured to determine the Head Cape.
